Allaire Community Farms
Is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit with a mission to “Nurture through Nature”. They rescue farm animals and utilize these wonderful animals and their farm environment to serve those in need in our community. The populations they work with are special needs individuals, teens suffering from mental health issues, veterans with PTSD, and local families battling cancer.
They accomplish this through therapeutic riding and driving lessons, pre-vocational job skill training, animal therapy, and individual coaching. They are also open to the public to volunteer or enjoy the serenity of the farm, its gardens, and their rescued animals. For more information please visit their site https://allairecommunityfarm.org/

The WhoWeLost Project invites our friends at Rami’s Heart to visit our site and write stories to honor the loved ones you’ve lost. We are a safe space, free from virus politics and social media toxicity. All stories are reviewed before being posted, and no comments are allowed. We believe that the details of your loved ones’ lives matter; and that documenting through writing is a way to combat statistics and generalizations. The WhoWeLost.org site offers a “writing toolbox” to help you get started, with optional tips and inspiration. We are growing, and we want to help. Shelter their stories at https://whowelost.org/
Common Ground Grief Center
Common Ground Grief Center is located in Manasquan, NJ.
They provide peer support groups for children, teens, and young adults who have experienced the death of a parent, primary caregiver, sibling, or friend. As many of you know first hand, over 50,000 children have experienced a loss of a parent through this pandemic and more have experienced a loss of a sibling or friend. Common Ground Grief Center provides open-ended peer support groups for children ages 6-18 as well as a young adult support group for ages 19-30. They believe in supporting the family as a whole and therefore offer a concurrent adult support group that meets at the same time, for the caregiver of the child or teen who is participating in their program. All of their groups are facilitated by trained volunteers, who must complete a comprehensive training program to prepare them for the sensitive nature brought forth by facilitating grief support groups. The death of a loved one often feels overwhelming, not only with grief but also with simple day-to-day activities. Struggling with their own feelings of grief, it is often difficult for the surviving parent to help their child cope with death, leaving the child to face their feelings of loss and pain alone. Travis and Rima personally visited the center and saw what an amazing, safe, and caring environment they have created. They emphasized the importance of being in the presence of other peers who have experienced a similar loss helps, which in turn, helps them to feel less alone in their grief and more understood. We believe this may help so many of those that fit the criteria for the services that Common Ground Grief Center provides. They are also a non-profit organization. There is no cost for the families to attend. For those interested, a brief orientation is required prior to beginning a group. Orientations may be set up by calling the Center at 732-606-7477 or emailing lynn@commongroundgriefcenter.org/

Creations by Ari Etsy Shop
Ariana was born in Brooklyn, NY, and made her way over to the Garden state in 2001. Ariana always had an eye for design and loved all things related to the arts. Yet her real calling was to help make a change in the world. Prior to the pandemic, Ariana was always involved in multiple charity projects and volunteered as much as possible. So it came naturally that she entered into the field of being a first responder. During the pandemic, Ariana worked the frontlines directly with hospitals, COVID testing sites, and kept the neighborhoods as safe as possible. With all the anxiety, extra hours at work, Ariana realized she needed to find creative relief in her first love; the arts. So she started up a small business to share her talent with others. As destiny would have it she was lead to Rima. Ariana has been honored working with Rami’s Heart COVID Memorial, she understands the pain of losing someone close to an unfair and uncontrollable circumstance and knows the importance this merchandise has to these individuals. Ariana is happy to provide to the hundreds of families a sentimental piece that helps memorialize their loved ones along with helping build Rami’s Memorial to its greatest potential with this great team of individuals.
